The ACMA has released its corporate plan, spanning four financial years, from 2017–21. The plan is released in accordance with paragraph 35(1) (b) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and section 56 of the Australian Communications and Media Authority Act 2005.
Our corporate plan outlines the ACMA's areas of focus and the principal activities we will undertake over the reporting period to achieve our purpose. It also sets out the framework that will be used to measure our performance. We will use this when we report on our performance in our Annual Performance Statement and annual report.
The ACMA has also developed the 2017–21 plan on a page, which provides a succinct overview of the organisation's priorities.
With a focus on increased transparency, consistency and ease of reading, the latest corporate plan illustrates how the ACMA will make communications and media work in Australia’s public interest.
