Our datasets have been grouped into subject areas, broken down by years and include information about methodologies used, sample sizes, how to reference our datasets correctly and other relevant information. Communications consumer survey datasets
Each year, we conduct surveys to examine Australian consumers’ use of communications services and applications, internet devices, online behaviour and satisfaction with various services. The survey findings refer to the period of the six months to May unless otherwise stated. The data from the survey is reported in a range of ACMA publications including the communications report and research snapshots.
The samples are typically taken from the Australian population aged 18 years and over and are subject to quotas for age, gender and location, including regional and urban areas, although there are some variations to these.
